What to Avoid

Avoid desserts made with chametz ingredients such as wheat flour, barley, oats, rye, or spelt, as well as regular baking powder or yeast. Be cautious with processed desserts that may contain hidden ingredients like malt, glucose syrup, or grain-derived additives. Even products that appear suitable, such as chocolate or flavoured desserts, may not be kosher for Passover unless they carry proper certification.
