Finding kosher for Passover apple cider vinegar should not mean squinting at labels in a crowded supermarket aisle. Vinegar is a product where the source and the processing both matter, so even a humble pantry staple needs proper Passover supervision, and the OU-P symbol is the clearest sign that a bottle is ready for your Seder table. In this guide we have gathered the best kosher for Passover apple cider vinegar available on Amazon, from Tuscanini's Italian organic bottles to De La Rosa's organic apple cider vinegar. Because apple cider vinegar rarely works alone in a Pesach kitchen, we have also added three OU-P balsamic vinegars, plus the oils, herbs and flavourings that turn a bottle of vinegar into dressings, marinades and sauces. Every product below was checked against the OU Passover guide for its brand and product type. As always, read the label on the bottle you actually receive, because packaging changes and our research is a starting point, not a ruling.

De La Rosa Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
Organic apple cider vinegar from De La Rosa, a trusted Passover pantry brand.
View ProductApple cider vinegar is the headline of this guide, and these three bottles are the ones we would reach for first. Two come from Tuscanini, an Italian pantry brand whose organic apple cider vinegar appears in the OU Passover guide, and one from De La Rosa, whose organic apple cider vinegar is also listed. Both brands appear in the part of the guide for products that are kosher for Passover only when the package carries the OU-P or OU Kosher for Passover mark, so check the label when your bottle arrives. Vinegar is pareve, which makes all three easy to use with meat or dairy meals. Reach for them in salad dressings, marinades, slaws and the sweet-and-sour cooking that fills so many Pesach menus.

View ProductBalsamic vinegar is the natural next step from cider vinegar, adding a deeper, sweeter note to dressings and roasted vegetables. We chose one bottle each from Bartenura, Tuscanini and De La Rosa, because all three brands have balsamic vinegar listed in the OU Passover guide's OU-P section. Bartenura and Tuscanini offer classic balsamic vinegar of Modena, while De La Rosa's organic bottle suits anyone who prefers organic ingredients. Balsamic is pareve and holds up well in a Seder-week kitchen where oils, herbs and vinegar do most of the flavouring. Chosen Foods Avocado Oil
A neutral oil for dressings and roasting. See the Passover note below.
View ProductA good vinaigrette needs a good oil, so we added three pantry oils that appear in the OU Passover guide. Extra virgin olive oil from Colavita and olive oil from Lucini Italia pair beautifully with both cider and balsamic vinegar, while Chosen Foods avocado oil gives you a neutral option for dressings and roasting. These oils are listed among OU-certified products that the guide says do not require a separate Passover mark, which is different from the vinegars above. For that reason, please read the note below before relying on them.
Kosher for Passover status should be reconfirmed each year. Packaging and certification can change, so check your local Kashrut Authority's current Passover guide before relying on this for Pesach.
🌿 Herbs and Spices for Pesach Dressings
Pereg basil, oregano and black pepper.

Pereg Dried Oregano Herbs Leaves
Dried oregano leaves, a natural match for balsamic and red wine vinegar.
View Product
Vinegar-based dressings come alive with dried herbs and pepper, and Pereg is a familiar name on Pesach shopping lists. Basil, oregano and ground black pepper are all classic partners for balsamic and red wine vinegar, and a small jar goes a long way across the eight days. Spices are an area where a Passover mark matters, because blends and some ground spices can pick up additives during processing. Pereg's herbs and spices appear in the OU Passover guide's OU-P section, so look for the symbol on the jar.
🥫 Sauces and Pantry Flavourings
Savoury extras for marinades and stir-fries.

Heaven & Earth Organic Coconut Aminos
A soy-free, savoury sauce for stir-fries and dressings.
View ProductMarinades and stir-fry sauces are where vinegar earns its keep, and these three pantry flavourings round out the kitchen. Haddar's vegan-friendly Worcestershire sauce adds savoury depth, Tuscanini's garlic paste saves time on weeknight dressings, and Heaven & Earth coconut aminos give you a soy-free savoury sauce. All three brands have the relevant products listed in the OU guide's OU-P section. Always scan the ingredient list and symbol on the bottle you receive, since flavoured and speciality products are where formulations change most often.

✅ What to Look For in Kosher for Passover Vinegar
Certification knowledge that protects your Pesach pantry.
Look for the OU-P symbol. A plain OU means a product is kosher, but it does not always mean it is kosher for Passover. In the OU guide, vinegars, spices and condiments are listed under products that are kosher for Passover only when they carry the OU-P or OU Kosher for Passover mark, so the symbol on the bottle is the check that counts.
Know the two kinds of listing. The OU guide separates products that need a Passover mark from OU-certified products that do not. Items in the second group, such as many olive oils, are accepted without a P, but that status is reissued each year, which is why we add a reconfirmation note beside those oils.
Check the exact product, not just the brand. A brand being in the guide does not mean every product it makes is covered. Flavoured, speciality and different-sized versions can differ, so match the bottle in your hand to the product named in the guide.
Read the vinegar's source. Apple cider, wine and balsamic vinegars start from fruit, while some white and distilled vinegars can be grain-based. That is one reason Passover certification matters for vinegar, and why we do not assume an unmarked bottle is fine.
Order early. Passover begins on 21 April 2027. Ordering your OU-P pantry staples a few weeks ahead leaves time for shipping delays and lets you inspect the packaging before the holiday.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Kosher for Passover apple cider vinegar, answered.
Is apple cider vinegar kosher for Passover?
Apple cider vinegar can be kosher for Passover, but only when it has proper Passover certification. The OU Passover guide lists organic apple cider vinegar from both Tuscanini and De La Rosa among products that are kosher for Passover when the package bears the OU-P or OU Kosher for Passover mark.
How do I know if apple cider vinegar is kosher for Passover?
Look for the OU-P symbol or an equivalent reliable Passover symbol on the bottle itself, then match the product to your local Kashrut Authority's current Passover guide. If there is no Passover mark and the product is not covered by a guide you trust, leave it out of your Pesach pantry.
Which kosher for Passover apple cider vinegars are on this page?
This page features Tuscanini Italian Organic Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar, Tuscanini Apple Cider Vinegar and De La Rosa Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. All three are sold on Amazon, and each brand appears in the OU Passover guide.
Is unfiltered apple cider vinegar still kosher for Passover?
Being unfiltered does not change the kosher status, but certification does. Choose an unfiltered bottle only if it carries the Passover mark you rely on, and check the label for added ingredients.
Is balsamic vinegar kosher for Passover?
Balsamic vinegar can be kosher for Passover when it carries the OU-P. Bartenura, Tuscanini and De La Rosa all have balsamic vinegar listed in the OU guide's OU-P section. Our full guide to kosher for Passover balsamic vinegar covers more options.
Is white distilled vinegar kosher for Passover?
Some white vinegars are listed in the OU guide, for example De La Rosa's organic white distilled vinegar, but distilled vinegar can be made from grain. Only use a white vinegar that carries a Passover mark or is listed in a guide you trust.
Do olive oil and avocado oil need a Passover symbol?
The OU guide lists several olive oils and Chosen Foods avocado oil among OU-certified products that do not require a separate Passover mark. Because guides are reissued every year, reconfirm each product's status in your local Kashrut Authority's current Passover guide before Pesach.
Are herbs and spices kosher for Passover?
Spices are an area where a Passover mark matters, because ground spices and blends can pick up additives in processing. Pereg's basil, oregano and black pepper appear in the OU guide's OU-P section, so look for the symbol on the jar. If your family avoids kitniyot, also check blends for ingredients such as sesame or mustard seed.
