Kosher Restaurants Chicago

What are some popular Kosher Restaurants in Chicago people are leaving reviews for?

When most people think of the city of Chicago, they think of its deep-dish pizza and hot dogs. However, what they may not know is that Chicago is also home to a large and thriving Jewish community. With over 200 kosher restaurants and food options, as well as 11 synagogues, Chicago is a great place for both Orthodox and Reform Jews alike.

This week we are looking at a handful of the kosher restaurants with hundreds of Google reviews.

Ken and Danny have personally worked in the restaurant for 30+ years and are two of a kind! The famous burger buddy resides here. Orthodox Jewish people from all over the world come to try it, and I’ve never heard anyone who was disappointed! This is an old diner style and has plenty of delicious menu items. One of my favorites is there foot-long deli sub Marine sandwich”

“Friendly owners and great old style burgers, dogs, fries, and pics of Wrigley. Also quality kosher you can trust.

A delicious Kosher BBQ spot near Wrigley Field. Came here before a game and was pleasantly surprised at the how well the food was cooked and the good variety they offered. Apps were also very good. Go with confidence”

“Who thought you could find kosher barbecue in the middle of Chicago? Well @miltsbbq is serving it up with entrees like this giant dinosaur sized slab of ribs or their brisket sandwich. Don’t forget those sides or starters like the French fries, coleslaw, house made pickles, fried crispy cauliflower, pretzel bites, and the famous cornbread.”

My favorite Kosher restaurant in Chicago. Food is tasty, nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff that goes above and beyond to meet our needs. I absolutely love it. I highly recommend it.

“Typical Israeli/Middle Eastern food served sit down style. The food was okay. The steak / not great (fatty & chewy) The picture looks better. Stick with the typical Israeli food / falafel / shawarma/ dips…The service was ok/ nothing special. No liquor/ beer….”

The Delmonico was possibly the best steak I’ve had at a restaurant. Fresh asparagus was superb side dish. Michael and Ricardo and the staff are always friendly..

“We keep coming back!
So far every time we come visit in Chicago, Evita steakhouse is on the to do list.
From the excellence in service and the warm owner, the food is amazing, steaks come out just the way we asked and everything on the side is always super tasty.”

I recommend Sarah’s Brick Oven. We had wonderful pomodori specialty pizza (good crust), tasty classic Shakshuka, delicious Jerusalem salad, falafel (average) in pita. Service was quick. Pizza had eggplant, garlic, black olives, feta, red onion, mushroom, topped after baking with arugula (as I had it in Europe).”

“We enjoyed a pizza exactly how the two of us ordered it. It’s a very cozy atmosphere with both couches and tables to eat at..”

Sara's Brick Oven The Kosher Hub Review

The thriving Jewish community in As we can see Chicago is home to a variety of kosher food options, for Jewish Orthodox that anyone can enjoy. It’s a great place for anyone looking for authentic kosher cuisine. The kashrut, or Jewish dietary laws, are strictly adhered to in this community, making it a great choice for those looking for a traditional experience.
